![]() We'll just never visit this place again and instead go to Six Flags Great Adventure who extended ALL 2020 annual passes through the end of 2021 for free. So American Dream/Nickelodeon Universe required their customers to visit in 2020 during a pandemic, putting us at risk, and now refuse to extend the vouchers they legitimately gave us because we did not come during their established time frame? I was then told that they only extended these vouchers to December 2020 (did not notify anyone of this) and they could no longer accept them. I called and explained the situation, offering that I knew they expired but we couldn't use them during the pandemic. Surely they would make an exception due to being closed the majority of 2020 like most other theme parks in the US. I pulled the vouchers and noticed they expired October 2020. Today, after seeing that the park was indeed open and all attractions were operating, we decided we would return later this month for my birthday. Perfect! We will simply come back when all of the rides are operating. The only other attractions open were a few flat rides.and I actually do mean only 3 or 4.Īfter only an hour in the park (after driving an hour from south NJ), we went to the ticket counter and were given vouchers for 100% off a future ticket. Despite a couple of the other roller coasters being in operation, both of them were closed on our visit. However, when we arrived, we were extremely disappointed to find out that only one roller coaster was open (the "kiddie" coaster) and it had a ridiculously long line as a result. We knew going in that a couple of the roller coasters had not opened yet due to permit issues. Originally, we visited this theme park when it first opened in October 2019. ![]() Up the line in guest service to whatever member of management finally reached on the phone - as they are not reachable in person surely to avoid having to render in person these cold management positions to families they repeated they did not care if I got value out of the passes and no refunds were allowed. ![]() "Team Leader" Beem was very dismissive while he did his best to feign sympathy while he repeated they would not offer a refund on the $250 expense for my party of 5. Rides open with delays at the earlier hours and express pass is not honored on the Dora skyway which is one that gets busy and would be most helpful in making the $50/pp pass in addition to $75pp park admission of value. Probably best to wait and buy in park after seeing the crowd size but no bold advice of this regard is listed on website. Buying these in advance is risky unless you can be sure it will be a busy day. The management is not focused on customer service in this regard and instead focused on making sure they keep this money so even if there are no lines you will not be refunded. I wouldn't attend again unless I'm with someone over the height of 48 inches at a $30 price max! Eat before you come, cause the food options are horrid! The mall itself hasn't opened the food court yet, either.Ī nice state of the art facility with great rides and character photo op locations both fixed and in costume, great for kids young and older BUT buyer beware with the quick pass it is very expensive when you have a larger party and may end up useless on slower days with no recourse for refund even if management acknowledges slow ridership and no actual functional use of quick pass as there are no lines. There are cute souvenirs that are not too pricey that you can get for memories. Saw Sandy from Sponge bob and Ninja turtle a few times during the day. The only thing I liked was the photo ops around the park and access to hand sanitizer. Some employees took their time, very slow letting patrons on the ride, while some worked effectively. Some employees used the sanitizing guns, while some didn't. Its fairly quiet with so much walking space. With little to no lines, we got through all rides for 42 inch children in about 3 hours. The park is cute, spacious but WAYYY OVERPRICED. Thanks to the promotion for healthcare workers, I was able to snatch a free ticket for myself, but ended up paying $50 for a four year old who really had only 5 rides minus the 3 that were closed due to COVID and 1 due to maintenance.
